Art at the Bank: Spring 2008 Show
The State Bank of Long Island in concert with The Art Guild of Port Washington and Rotary Club of Port Washington is sponsoring a juried art show to be held from April 14, 2008 to June 26, 2008. We are seeking recent, original paintings.
* Flat work only: any medium – oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media.* Maximum framed size horizontal dimension – 48 inches.* All work must be suitably framed and ready for hanging. Please note that that unframed pictures will be exhibited only if the art itself dictates a compelling reason for being hung without a frame.* Please label the back of each piece with your name, phone and title.Only original artwork will be judged and must be submitted to State Bank of Long Island on Thursday, April 10, 2008, before noon. The State Bank of Long Island is at 960 Port Washington Boulevard in Port Washington.
Entry Fee: $45 for up to two (2) pieces. (The Art Guild members - $20)
Prizes will be awarded for the show. The reception will be on Saturday April 26, from 2:00 to 3:30.
