CALL FOR ENTRIES:
The Art Guild invites all artists to submit images of their 2D or 3D works for consideration for its Face & Figure Juried Competition and Exhibition. High School students ages 14-18 years may enter in the student category. All work must be original and done by hand. No mechanical reproductions, Giclees or photography. The Selection Committee’s decision is final. Works to be included in this exhibition must be available from March 8
through April 24, 2010.
JUROR: Diana De Santis; a graduate of the Parsons School of Design, also attended Traphagen School of Design. In 1989, she began attending the Art Students League, where she was awarded a one-year scholarship and studied with David Leffel and Harvey Dinnerstein. Diana has had ten solo shows and exhibits at: Nassau County Museum of Art; Heckscher Museum in Huntington; National Arts Club in Gramercy Park, NYC; Salmagundi Club, NYC; and Pastel Society exhibits in France, Italy and Russia during 2002. She is listed in Who’s Who in American Art. She has received 15 gold medals and over 200 awards.
AWARDS: 1st Place - $500, 2nd Place - $250, 3rd Place - $100.
Honorable Mention certificates will be awarded.
Also a special Award for Sculpture
$100 from the The Council of American Artist Societies, Inc.
