Portraits 2008 Exhibit

at Elderfields Preserve

The Art Guild of Port Washington announces the opening of its first Portrait juried competition and exhibition at the Gallery at Elderfields Historic Preserve located at 200 Port Washington Blvd. in Manhasset. Artists from across the country submitted over 200 works for consideration. Fifty-eight works of art have been selected and will be on display from October 13 through November 28. Gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, or by appointment by calling The Art Guild at 516-304-5797.

Portraits, in all media, range in style from the contemporary to traditional realism.

The exhibit showcases some of the finest portraiture being done today.
