Our flexible weekly camps for Grades 1-6 and run Monday\u2013Thursday (with sessions offered 10\u20133pm, 10\u20131pm, or 2\u20135pm) and Fridays from 10\u20133pm, making it easy to fit art into your summer schedule. Camps take place outdoors, giving kids plenty of fresh air and space to create, and camp sizes are kept small to ensure individual attention and a supportive, welcoming environment. Campers can sign up for one week or multiple weeks, with each week featuring a new theme and a different teaching artist\u2014so there\u2019s always something new to explore. From drawing and painting to mixed media and beyond, every camp is designed to inspire imagination, build skills, and make creativity fun.

If you want to learn more about clay and ceramics, this camp is for you! Students will learn traditional hand building skills used in constructing functional and sculptural ceramics. Each project will explore current and historical ceramic artists and how the projects connect and relate to each lesson. Students will have the opportunity to learn the basics of pottery hand building techniques such as pinching, coiling, slab building and sculpting decorations. Some of the artists and artworks that we will discuss may include: Peter Anton, Roberto Lugo, and Beatrice Wood or Historical artists\/ceramic works exhibited in Smithsonian, Alfred Ceramic Art Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art.<\/p>\n
