    In this workshop we will explore the lines of cityscape as compared to the organic shapes of the landscape. We will also look at similarities between\u00a0the two such as lighting and mood. Over the years many artists explored the city in their paintings and we will be learning about them\u00a0as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Who knew that three simple folds could yield so many possibilities? You will be <\/span>guided through all the steps to fold and assemble two beautiful, small, hard <\/span>covered books.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The first, when opened becomes a star; the second a \u201ccaterpillar<\/strong>.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

    A third, sits to hold notes, <\/span>cards or photos. (They make beautiful gifts and favors.)<\/span><\/p>\n

    We\u2019ve all done it. Like our dreams each night, doodles have emerged most naturally, from the unconscious. We don\u2019t think very hard at all when we scribble patterns onto a random piece of paper as something supposedly \u201cmore important\u201d is going on.<\/span><\/p>\n

    This workshop, \u201cDoodle Masterpiece Workshop\u201d puts your doodling on a pedestal and will undoubtedly result in a highly respectable work of art.<\/span><\/p>\n

    This one day Workshop would employ the \u201cdirect painting\u201d method, whereby students would copy a Master and finish the painting in one three-hour session.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/span>Master painting reference photos will be supplied. Students can choose which of the Masters they\u2019d like to work from and can bring any size canvas they\u2019d like.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    This workshop is an exploration into the choices the Master artist made regarding composition, subject, color, value, painting style, etc.\u00a0<\/span>It\u2019s a fun exercise and can be a valuable learning experience.<\/span><\/p>\n
