CALL TO ARTISTS:<\/strong>\u00a0All current TAG\u00a0members (high school and older) may submit\u00a0one piece of their artwork to Members Showcase 2021.\u00a0Non-members can become members at\u00a0time of submission.<\/span><\/p>\n

CRITERIA:\u00a0<\/b>All styles from non-objective\u00a0to abstracted realism are welcome. All\u00a0works must be original, and have been\u00a0created in the last five years. References\u00a0used in the creation of the submitted work\u00a0must be the artist\u2019s own, or copyright released for use in this work. Works\u00a0previously exhibited at The Art Guild\u00a0Gallery will not be considered.

MEDIUMS:\u00a0<\/b>Including but not limited to\u00a0acrylic, charcoal, collage, colored pencil, digital art,\u00a0ink, oil, mixed media, pastel, pencil, photography,\u00a0printmaking, sculpture or watercolor. No Copies,\u00a0Master Copies, Reproductions OR Giclees.<\/p>\n

SIZE AND FRAMING:<\/strong> Frame size must not exceed 30\u201d<\/strong> on the longest side and wired securely for hanging with screw eyes or D-rings to the frame, NOT the backboard. No sawtooth hangers, tape or string. Work must be labeled with the title, artist\u2019s name, street address, phone number, and email. Framing of your work must comply with the above OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.<\/p>\n

JUROR OF AWARDS:<\/b>\u00a0Christian White<\/strong>\u00a0grew up in a family of artists studying drawing, painting and sculpture from a very young age.\u00a0He began studying painting in 1966 with Paul Russotto before attending Liceo Artistico in Rome, Italy in 1968-69 and has a BFA in Painting from RISD.\u00a0\u00a0He had his first solo exhibition in 1975 at The Harbor Gallery in Cold Spring Harbor, NY followed by shows at The Steven Adams Gallery, Ingber Gallery, The Garrison Art Center and The Great American Salvage Company. He has had yearly one-man shows at Gallery North, in Setauket, Long Island, since 1983.
