Art Director\/Program Director<\/span><\/h5>\n

Tracy returns to her design roots when she joined the staff of The Art Guild.\u00a0 She had worked as an Art Director at Golden Books after working at Scholastic Publishing, Early Childhood Today Magazine<\/em>, and Workman Publishing and then worked many years in Early Childhood Education. She is also Freelance designer for a variety of clients. <\/span><\/p>\n

I love all the creative energy you feel as soon as you walk through the door or even enter the website, it inspires me to keep creating.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tracy achievements include:
<\/span>– 2024 Community Outreach Award in Memory of Peter Dejana
– Board member and Registrar of Programming for the Port Washington P.A.L.
– Captain of “The Bombers”, 1 of the 5 PW Women’s Softball teams
-1996 National EdPress Award – Design, cover story
-1996 National EdPress Award -How-To-Creative Dramatics Story

-1994 Selected for David Carson Design Competition<\/span><\/p>\n

Tracy enjoys drawing with ink, doodling, and using typographic solutions as art – she has an obsession with fonts!<\/span><\/p>\n

Tracy lives in Port Washington with her husband, 3 children and 2 Bulldogs.<\/span><\/p>\n

No class Apr 22 (Easter Monday) and <\/strong>May 27 (Memorial Day)<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\nRegardless of your chosen media, good drawing skills are crucial to a successful outcome. Refine your drawing skills and hone your powers of observation. The class will sample and experiment with various materials which may include graphite, pen and ink, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, charcoal, markers, mixed media collage, and a group project at the discretion of the instructor.\n\nThis is a perfect class for a beginning artist or one who feels \"rusty.\" Please bring your enthusiasm, an open mind, an 18 x 24 drawing pad (NOT newsprint), 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B pencils, and a kneaded eraser to first class.
