Executive Director<\/span><\/h5>\n

Lisa has been the Executive Director of The Art Guild since May 2018. Prior to joining TAG Lisa served as the Development Director at Residents Forward and Executive Director of the Parent Resource Center. Prior to her non-profit career, she was Senior Vice President Risk Management at BNP Paribas, covering hedge funds and structured products. Lisa’s Wall Street career lasted 17 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lisa formerly served as the Treasurer of Sands Point Preserve and as the Treasurer of Community Synagogue, the Advisory Board member of Ed Foundation and as fundraising chair of Guggenheim Elementary School Home School Association.<\/span>
Lisa’s favorite mediums are pencil and oil.<\/span><\/p>\n

After spending many years in the financial industry, I wanted to give back to my community. I minored in Studio Art in college and left that part of me behind as I was starting my career and raising young children. I am so happy to be back in the arts and offering avenues to enable artists to advance their skills and allow others to discover new talents<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Lisa lives in Port Washington with her husband and two daughters.<\/span><\/p>\n

No class Apr 22 (Easter Monday) and <\/strong>May 27 (Memorial Day)<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\nRegardless of your chosen media, good drawing skills are crucial to a successful outcome. Refine your drawing skills and hone your powers of observation. The class will sample and experiment with various materials which may include graphite, pen and ink, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, charcoal, markers, mixed media collage, and a group project at the discretion of the instructor.\n\nThis is a perfect class for a beginning artist or one who feels \"rusty.\" Please bring your enthusiasm, an open mind, an 18 x 24 drawing pad (NOT newsprint), 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B pencils, and a kneaded eraser to first class.
