Please be aware that the digital images you send should look as good as they possibly can. These will be the images that will be will be reviewed by our curators and <\/em><\/i>displayed in our online gallery. Submitting through BOCES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can enter as many students as you wish and pay through BOCES.
Each student can submit their artwork and fill out the form on our website.
We will send you an invoice for the total number of students that you can submit to BOCES.
There is no group discount.<\/p>\n

School District is paying:<\/strong>

Each student can fill out the form on our website and submit the work. (Disregard the mandatory payment. You can submit artwork without payment.<\/span>)

We will send you an invoice for all of the participants that you can submit to the district. There is no group discount.<\/p>\n

Artwork may be sold directly by the artist with a suggested donation of 20% of the selling price from the artist to The Art Guild. Note, however, that sales may not be made at the exhibition<\/i>. No sawtooth hangers, tape, strings. We can wire for you for a $10 fee. Gallery wraps are acceptable, but must be at least 1\u201d thick.\n\nWork must be labeled with the title, artist\u2019s name, street address, phone number, and email. \n\nFraming of your work must comply with the above OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”LIABILITY & INSURANCE” _builder_version=”4.18.0″ global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]

The Liability Waiver on the entry form must be signed by the artist submitting images for consideration. Artists\u2019 Reception and Award Ceremony\n<\/b>Sunday, November 3, 3-5 PM\nGallery and Reception: Free and open to the public<\/b><\/h3>\nCALL FOR ENTRIES:<\/b> The Art Guild invites all Nassau County High School Students to submit digital images of their 2D or 3D artworks for consideration to its \u201c2019 Nassau County High School Student Juried Art Competition & Exhibition\u201d <\/b>which will be on view at The Art Guild\u2019s home, Elderfields Historic Preserve.\n\nCRITERIA: <\/b>All styles from abstract to realism are welcome. Student\u2019s 2D or 3D work must be original and done \u201cby hand\u201d (no mechanical reproductions or giclees) and created within the last two years. Please, NO FAN art (celebrity\/musician\/etc.) or images derived from existing cartoon or animal characters. All art must be original to the student. The selection committee\u2019s decision is final. Works to be included in this exhibition must be available from October 28 \u2013 November 24, 2019.
