One part lifestyle, one part gallery, add a twist of wit\u00a0&<\/span>\u00a0whim<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and it\u2019s a way to gift & give back!\u00a0\u00a0wit\u00a0&<\/span>\u00a0whim is committed to donating 100% of their profits\u00a0directly to organizations that benefit individuals, communities, & our world! \u00a0an original way to \u201cfun(d)-raise!\u201d<\/p>\n

Throughout the month of August\u00a0we are asking everyone to join us and\u00a0\u2018give the gift of art!\u2019 by shopping at wit & whim<\/span><\/strong> for creative and unique\u00a0items. The eclectic shop features handmade, vintage, modern, and fair trade items,\u00a0from clothing, accessories and jewelry to adorable\u00a0baby and children\u2019s items\u00a0(fabulous shower gifts!), ceramics, home decor, and m\"WitandWhim_kids\"ore. Get some early\u00a0Christmas and Hannukah shopping done\u00a0and your gift gives back \u2013\u00a0100% of the profits\u00a0go directly to The Art Guild!<\/em><\/p>\n

A festive reception will be held\u00a0on\u00a0August 9, 12-2 & 6-9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Our mission:\u00a0The Art Guild of Port Washington, Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing encouragement, education and a forum for the appreciation of the visual arts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Guild seeks to offer residents from local and neighboring communities an avenue to broaden their creative pursuits by striving to:<\/p>\n

  • Encourage<\/strong>. Encouragement to artists and craftspeople through collaboration and interaction<\/li>\n
  • Educate<\/strong>. Educational opportunities, workshops, lectures and discussion groups<\/li>\n
  • Explore<\/strong>. An art facility where residents can come to broaden their creative experiences<\/li>\n
  • Exhibit<\/strong>. A forum in which the community can appreciate the visual arts through exhibits and community projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
