What\u2019s your Joy? Art has long been a means of communicating ideas, emotions and information in its many forms. These elements have been the driving force in the creation of art from cave drawings to the diversity of modern art. Artists, please submit for consideration your original artwork in any medium except photography, that reflects or is your own source of joy to share in this special exhibit. Artists age 18 and older are invited to submit artwork for consideration for this exhibit.<\/span>

References used in the creation of the submitted work must be the artist\u2019s own, or copyright-released for use in this work. Please be aware that the digital images you send should look as good as they possibly can. These will be the images that will be will be reviewed by our curators and <\/em><\/i>displayed in our online gallery. The Selection Committee will review all entries and notify each artist as to the acceptance of the submitted work. High school students will be reviewed and judged separately. The Art Guild has the right, in its sole discretion, to choose which eligible entries will be accepted to be exhibited. All decisions are final. Artists whose work has been selected will be notified either by email OR on our website.<\/p>\n

If your artwork is selected, framing of your work must comply with the above OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Frame size must not exceed 36\u201d<\/strong> <\/span>on the longest side and wired securely for
hanging with screw eyes or D-rings to the frame, NOT the backboard. No sawtooth hangers, tape, string, or gallery wraps. We can wire for you for a $10 fee.<\/p>\n

Artwork may be sold directly by the artist with a suggested donation of 20% of the selling price from the artist to The Art Guild. Note, however, that sales may not be made at the exhibition<\/i>.<\/p>\n
