Holbein Watercolor & Gouache<\/span><\/h2>\n

Workshop <\/span>with Legion Paper <\/span><\/h2>\n

and <\/span>General Pencil<\/span><\/h2>\n

This two hour workshop will give attendees an opportunity to learn about<\/span> and try <\/span>all <\/span>of <\/span>Holbein\u2019s various watercolor products, <\/span>Legion<\/span>Paper\u2019s <\/span>Stonehenge surfaces, <\/span>and General Pencil products. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>We will explore <\/span>Holbein Artist\u2019s Watercolor, watercolor mediums, Gouache, and Acrylic Gouache<\/span>. \u00a0<\/span>Legion\u2019s 100% cotton Stonehenge Aqua paper in varying weights, surface finishes and colors and Yupo 100% polypropylene paper, and attendees will explore the various products offered by General Pencil.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please come and try all the products and let our brand ambassador guide you to a better understanding of the materials and their use in watercolor painting.<\/span><\/p>\n

ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED for you to try. You do not need to bring anything, and after you get to bring the supplies home<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Artists\u2019 Reception and Award Ceremony\n<\/b>Sunday, November 3, 3-5 PM\nGallery and Reception: Free and open to the public<\/b><\/h3>\nCALL FOR ENTRIES:<\/b> The Art Guild invites all Nassau County High School Students to submit digital images of their 2D or 3D artworks for consideration to its \u201c2019 Nassau County High School Student Juried Art Competition & Exhibition\u201d <\/b>which will be on view at The Art Guild\u2019s home, Elderfields Historic Preserve.\n\nCRITERIA: <\/b>All styles from abstract to realism are welcome. Student\u2019s 2D or 3D work must be original and done \u201cby hand\u201d (no mechanical reproductions or giclees) and created within the last two years. Please, NO FAN art (celebrity\/musician\/etc.) or images derived from existing cartoon or animal characters. All art must be original to the student. The selection committee\u2019s decision is final. Works to be included in this exhibition must be available from October 28 \u2013 November 24, 2019. No exceptions. <\/i>\n\nMEDIUMS: <\/b>Including but not limited to acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, digital art, collage, encaustic, etching\/prints or sculpture with pedestal.
