Every day, more than a thousand people\u2014patients, staff, families, and visitors\u2014find comfort, inspiration, and a moment of calm through the artwork displayed in our halls. We\u2019re inviting artists to participate in this juried exhibit and become part of this healing environment.<\/p>\n

Research and lived experience both affirm what we witness daily: art supports emotional well\u2011being, reduces stress, and creates a sense of connection. Your contribution can genuinely make someone\u2019s day brighter.<\/p>\n

We welcome artists working in photography. Selected works will be displayed in the EP Hallway at St. Francis Hospital, where they\u2019ll be seen and appreciated by thousands over the course of the 6 month exhibition.<\/p>\n

*NEW THIS YEAR: Viewers\u2019 Choice Award*<\/h6>\n

Visitors will have the chance to vote for their favorite piece using a QR code displayed on the exhibition signage. The artist whose work receives the most votes will receive a TAG Gift Certificate.<\/p>\n

Artwork will be on display for approximately six months at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Artists age 16 and older are invited to submit artwork for consideration for this exhibit.<\/p>\n

Having had wonderful care for my heart at Saint Francis Hospital several years ago, I was inspired to enter the \u201cLong live Long Island\u201d landscape exhibit. The medium that I usually use is pastel, however for this competition artists were asked to submit photographs of uplifting and inspirational subject matter. I thought this recent shot taken on a stormy day in Port Jefferson Harbor captured the theme perfectly.<\/p>\n
