In March 2020 my mother moved in with us and has been with us since. In this very frightening time, especially for older people, we are very fortunate that she is here. My mother is a woman of faith who lights candles every Friday night to welcome in the Sabbath. It seemed appropriate, particularly at this time, to record this very significant ritual.
