Ming Franz exemplifies the unique beauty of contemporary Asian-American Art. Over the years she has mastered the powerful and evocative medium of Splash Ink and Color Painting.

Drawing influence from the lush forest region of Taiwan, Ming developed an early passion for nature. She uses her vast knowledge of the natural world to transform abstract ink forms into works of art. Her adaptive style allows the splashes of colored ink to have their own voice. Swirls of ink are transformed into mountains, clouds, waterfalls, seashores, forests, with birds and wildflowers leaping from the paintings. Ming was the grand prize winner of International Artist magazine challenge No.86 Abstract/experimental Art, and a certified Golden Paint and Silver Brush Artist Educator.

She is now experimenting abstract watercolor and acrylic on paper, canvas and wood panels.
