Ever since I could hold a crayon, art has been a constant in my life, evolving from a cherished pastime into a powerful means of self-expression. Through volunteer work with the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center (TRSAC), I’ve used art to inspire awareness and action, from creating conservation-based exhibits to repurposing beach litter into impactful installations, I thrive in collaborative spaces where artists fuel each other’s growth and passion. Whether chiseling away in a late night studio session or leading a community exhibit, I’m driven by the belief that visual art can connect people and catalyze change.

Art has always been a form of visually expressing my emotions and connecting with myself. I have always had a hard time speaking or writing but when I create art, the possibilities are endless and I feel free. Playing with different mediums and techniques has helped me explore my identity and over time my love for art has grown. I made a lot of art last year for classes but when they were over, I still wanted to create more which helped me decide to study the visual arts.

I plan to pursue a career in visual arts, focusing on cultural identity, social issues, and personal storytelling. I aim to attend an art school or university with a strong fine arts or illustration program to refine my skills. My experience at the Tashkent State Museum of Arts sparked my interest in curatorial work, so I am open to museum or exhibition design opportunities. Ultimately, I hope to create art that fosters connection and conversation while exploring themes of identity and heritage. Whether through fine art, illustration, or cultural work, I want my creativity to make a meaningful impact.
